Ibexo · a small series of puzzle games

Games that let you stop.

Every Ibexo game is one classic puzzle, generated endlessly, in the level you choose. Nothing around it: no ads, no streaks, no points, no notifications. You see the price before you download, and your time stays yours.

The games.

Coming to the App Store and Google Play

Sudoku by Ibexo

Eight levels from Beginner to Extreme, a quick 6×6 and a large 16×16. Hints that explain the technique. Nothing that pulls you back.

More games are in the works. No dates, no waiting list. When one is ready, it appears here and in the About screen of the games you already own.

The Ibexo rules.

Eight things that are true for every game we make. If one of them ever stops being true, the game is not an Ibexo game.

01

No ads. Ever.

Not between puzzles, not to unlock anything. There is no ad SDK in the app.

02

No streaks, points or trophies.

No levels, no daily challenge, no leaderboard, no confetti. A puzzle is done when it is done.

03

No notifications.

The app never calls you. It has nothing to remind you of.

04

Nothing about your past games.

No statistics, no history, no average time. The game you are playing is the only game.

05

Price first.

You see what it costs before you download. A free trial without a card, then a small subscription or one purchase, forever.

06

Everything that is not the puzzle is optional.

The clock, mistake checking, highlights, animations: each is a switch, and each can be off.

07

Offline, no account.

Puzzles are generated on your phone. Your settings and your current game stay on your device and go nowhere.

08

A reminder, if you want one.

You can ask the game to tell you after 10, 20 or 30 minutes. It says so once, quietly, and does nothing else.

Made in Zug.

Ibexo is a series by web and app GmbH, a small software company in Zug, Switzerland. We made the first game because we wanted to play sudoku for fifteen minutes and then stop, and no app would let us.

The name comes from the ibex, the Alpine steinbock and heraldic animal of Graubünden: sure-footed, stands still, runs from nobody. That is the whole brief for every game that carries the name.
